JV Leakey Lady Eagles Tip Off their Basketball Season

The JV Lady Eagles tipped off their season this past week against Center Point and Medina. We suffered losses against both teams. The JV Lady Eagles hustled and played aggressive but fell behind with turnovers and foul trouble. Our team is young which includes 3 sophomores, Ty Ty Gass, Miranda Cave, and Veronica Gonzales, and five freshmen, Danielle Garcia, Clair Glass, Jacy Gray, Hailey Hart, and Kensee Auld. They are beginning to read each other as they continue playing and practicing together. As we implement different plays the Lady Eagles will become more comfortable and experienced. I am looking forward to a great season with these players. We will play Sabinal on Tuesday November, 29th in Sabinal. Let's Go Lady Eagles!!
